If you're trying to recruit me into your FC I will have referred you to this post. I figure if someone is really interested in a person and isn't just randomly inviting people, they won't have a problem reading this first.
I play WHM and PLD. I've leveled NIN to 80, but I don't see myself playing it heavily.
I don't want to level any other jobs. If I ever do, you bet I'll do it. But I'm extremely happy with my WHM and PLD.
If you saw me in-game and said, "ooh, a WHM that isn't in an FC, we need more healers..." That's probably a big mistake. I am not an experienced raider in FFXIV. Especially bleeding-edge raids.
Also, up until just a few short months ago, I was never in an FC. So I don't speak FFXIV. So I'll ask lots of dumb questions. If you ask me if I have X unlocked, the answer is possibly, but probably not. As I was flying solo for almost all of my time in FFXIV, I only unlocked what I had to in order to accomplish what I needed.
I'm happy to help. I'm not selfish. But I'm far from an accomplished player in FFXIV.
I got that out of my system when I left WoW. I just want to have fun when I'm not working.
Which is the final consideration. I work, a lot. I have a high-pressure, high-stress job that often takes me away at random hours of the day as we have teams all over the world.
If you're still interested. Read my "About Me" post... I talk A LOT. Even when I was without an FC, I was in Discord with other players. Self-deprecating humor is my forte. I'm not whining, I just think it's funny when I screw up.
Thanks for reading!
Do you listen to honest, truthful, explanations of rotations/abilities/ hints that may help you be more efficient? When someone that actually has a slight idea what they are talking about shares their information do you listen to them, try it, look it up on your time to verify, then thank them?
NO? Well that's cool, solo play works for some.
YES? You will be accepted in any legit FC that has genuine members that care and love to teach :D
If you avoid the grinding and high end stuff, this is actually a good game for casual play since one character can do everything. No alts needed!
Also, I think many FC's deal with people from different time zones and lifestyles. Sometimes their members just are not on at the same times and have limited time to do stuff. I have found just work out what you can when you can. If you can group and do stuff, great, if not, that's fine too.
