SaturdayPlayed some
Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn this evening. And I went on another mobster run, stealing items from shops, then selling them to a fence to make some money (gotta love that
Save Scumming). I also did a lot of lockpicking and chest pilfering as well, making even more money. Eventually I could get 20k gold - required to advance in the storyline - by doing this, and not have to do any of the "required" quests in order to get there!
And I played some vinyls this evening as well, which were the following:
The White Stripes - Self-Titled Debut
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Rush - Caress of Steel
SundayCalled in from work today, since I did some major heavy lifting the past 2 days at work, something my body wasn't used to, so my shoulders, back, and wrists were pretty wrecked.
And all I can say:
Wow! Thanks! And to think that yesterday, it was:
And that's why you don't give up when it comes to streaming. I'd rather root for the team that 0 for 100, than a team that's 1 for 1 (for all the sense that makes
:/>).
Buuuut anyway, for this evening's stream I played some
Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn this evening, running with my rogue. I continued on the questline, and eventually I became the leader of my own Thieves' Guild. And Chapter Two is now in the bag. And I "only" needed 15k gold, and not 20k for some reason, to do so. I also cleared out a slavers' den and freed a bunch of slaves. Unfortunately, I had to "cheat-kill" a few enemies that were immune to any damage I could inflict. And this was
especially relavent later on, when I had to rescue some guy from a bunch of trolls, that can only be killed with either fire or acid (they can be taken down to 0hp, but can only be finished off with acid/fire, otherwise they revive again).
And the umpty-zillion (!) records I played today were:
Pink Floyd - The Endless River
Blood, Sweat, and Tears - Self-Titled Second Album
Jethro Tull - Benefit
Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle
Frank Zappa - Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch
Motorhead - Overkill
Led Zeppelin - Physical Grafitti
Django Reinhardt - First Recordings
MondayAgainst my better judgement, due to my upper body being pretty much tore up over the last 2-3 days (see above) I went ahead and did my usual Monday morning chest workout, doing my
"incline" cable crossovers, using stretchy bands wrapped around the stairway railing right next to my apartment....:
My first time ever making and uploading GIFs, so they're probably not going to be the best..... as well as doing
incline push-ups using my bathroom counter/sink.....
..... and also doing
chest dips, via a couple of old antique hand-me-down chairs I got from my Grandma (I think).....
Necessity is the mother of invention!
Did a "split stream" this evening, starting off by playing
FF XIV, leveling up my sammy, running hunts, Fairy beast tribe quests, and a leveling roulette. And he got to level 74. Awesome! And after that, I got on
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, and did some questing on my rogue. I
had to bring along a second person, so this wasn't quite as easy as I wanted it to be. But after all that, I went on my monk. And I discovered a new cheat: Spawning monsters! I kinda like this one. Just create some Gnolls and Ogres for my monk to fight, then just sit back and watch. I might even start doing this off-stream as well!
:D>And here's the records I played today:
Roky Erickson - The Evil One
Jehtro Tull - Aqualung
Bill Cosby - Wonderfulness
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
KISS - Self-Titled Debut
And that'll do 'er. What a good weekend! Thanks for the honor of your presence, everyone. And you all have yourselves a great day/night.
