SaturdayAhhh, retail..... (Sorry if this doesn't make any sense)And yet another dead stream, like has been going on the past few days, except for one person that came on that was selling me some Twitch emotes/avatars/animations/etc (my response was basically thanks, but no thanks. I wouldn't even know what I want.). But also like yesterday, I ended up nodding off about an hour and a half in due to bad (dream/nightmare-filled) sleep so, another shortie today.
Otherwise, it was the usual, doing my daily crafting as well as open-world dailies. I tried running a dungeon, but like what usually goes on I ended up dropping out since I wasn't able to keep up with the rest of the group (I'd rather drop out than get kicked out), who just rushes pell-mell for the final boss. I really miss
robean.
:(>And the one and only vinyl record I played today was:
The Honolulu Guitars - Hawaii, Isle of Paradise / The Charles "Kaipo" Miller Serenaders, Hawaiian Paradise
SundayYyyyep! I've known people like this over the years. Goddamn elitist Nazis. And like usual, these cartoons are no reflection on the stream content. They're just added in on a whim. If I like it, I add it.A good session today, much better than the past few days. I started with Guild Wars 2, but this time I only played long enough to do my crafting and open-world dailies and called it good.
robean wasn't on again, so there wasn't much point in me continuing (as wussy as that might sound).
After that, I went ahead and played a fighting game that I haven't played in a while: Fantasy Strike. And why Fantasy Strike, and not Street Fighter 5/Tekken 7/Mortal Kombat 11/etc., you might ask?
This game is right in the middle, difficulty-wise. Divekick is great - a fighting game that has
ONLY 2 BUTTONS - but the novelty wore off after a bit. And most other games have this crap that I can't execute (at least) half the time:
Fantasy Strike's motion inputs mostly involve a simple "Move forward + hit a button", "Move back + hit a button", "Don't move + hit a button", "Hold a button for 1 second and release" and that's it. Totally doable.
And the way it's looking now going forward, it'll be just me doing the gw2 dailies, and then going right to Fantasy Strike. And FF XIV will probably be done on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, when I'll have time to make videos.
And the LPs I played today were:
Metallica - Live at the Playhouse Theater, 12/13/1986
Billy Cobham - Spectrum
The Doobie Brothers - Minute by Minute
MondayAn excellent session today! Like has been going on for the past few days I started this session by doing some Guild Wars 2, but only playing long enough to do my crafting & open-world dailies and then calling it good.
After that, I started up some Fantasy Strike, playing a character named . . . . . <insert series of As, Rs, and Gs here> . . . . I just call him "Argle Gargle" (It rolls off the tongue a lot easier). Anyway, he plays like Dhalsim (of
Street Fighter fame), with long stretchy limbs meant to keep opponents away from him as much as possible.
At least in theory. Actually I tried playing some online games as well as hard mode offline (And why hard mode? I get beat
EVEN ON EASY MODE, so may just as well go hard). Boy, was my ass handed to me lol! Seems I have
A LOT of work to do to get to where I can play this guy/game competently. But like the old saying goes, "The road to success is paved with failure".
And here's the vinyl LPs I played this evening:
Ween - God Ween Satan
Roky Erickson - The Evil One
Motorhead - Self-Titled Debut
Okey dokey, time to call it a night. Thanks for reading/watching, guys.
<Take care.> and see you all next time.
