This post was written in haste (post-haste? hahahahaha), since I needed to get a nap in, due to poor sleep (dream/nightmare-filled).



Pretty good session today. I did my usual in Guild wars 2, crafting and doing my open-world dailies, and then heading to Fantasy Strike afterwards. Didn't do much on there, just did some practicing with Argle Gargle, as well as a solo match. But white_wimmin came on. Haven't seen him in a long time, good to see him! He works 60-hour weeks now, so he doesn't have much time to visit. But me and him talked for a bit, mostly about fighting games, as well as me extolling the virtues - as well as its drawbacks - of playing Fantasy Strike.

Oh, and also: there's a chance I might be migrating over to posting blogs on the Fantasy Strike forums, and leaving The Lodestone. I haven't actually posted anything on there, so nothing official yet. But unlike other games I've played over the years, Fantasy Strike DOES have a forum specifically for stream blogs, just like Path of Exile has. And it looks like that place, just like here, uses BBC Code, which is what I'm used to. But more on this later (nap time!)

A meh session today, mostly because the stream was dead, with only white_wimmin coming by during Fantasy Strike. Otherwise I just did my usual in Guild Wars 2, crafting & dailies.

Fantasy Strike, however, not so good. Did some practicing and then did some solo matches, which didn't go well at all. Kept fucking up too much. Not to mention I think my controller kept messing up as well (I can only use the d-pad part of my controller, which was causing me to jump when I didn't want to. The analog stick doesn't work in this game. I also have to keep the controller plugged in as well - again otherwise the game won't recognize it - which can cause disconnects if the wire gets jostled, which is especially bad when playing Pinball FX3/Arcade). After that, I just watched some replays, seeing how the pros do it. I have much to learn from watching these guys lol. I also did an online match, but I'm pretty sure by now you all know how that turned out. -_-

Oh, and I also changed my in-game name from "Joe Schmoe" to "Charlie Brown", figuring if I'm going to be losing THIS much, might as well have a name that's appropriate lol.



Oh, and before I forget again, there was a silver lining to this cloud: 2 people subscribed to my stream! I don't who you guys are, but very much appreciated. :D>
