This morning I watched part of a one-hour special that I haven't seen in years, from my 2nd all-time favorite comedian: Maria Bamford. But like others I'm sure, some of the stuff she says has EVEN ME going "What the hell is she talking about?" And the stage lighting changes tell me that this show was rehearsed, another turn-off (a good chunk of Robin Williams's - my all-time favorite comedian - stand-up was improvised). -_-
So, why do I like this one then? One, it's filmed in Minnesota, my home state. And two, it looks like it was filmed in a community center and not, say, Carnegie Hall or The Comedy Store. A change of scenery is always good. :)>
I also played FF XIV for a little bit as well, running a 50/60/70 on my red mage, a class I haven't played in a long time:

A pretty good time today, until a few hours in, when all of a sudden I got drowsy for some reason, despite me getting a full night's day's sleep.
And in Guild Wars 2, things went not as good. One of my open-world dailies required me to run a dungeon twice (one for the story, the other for a choice of 1 of 3 alternate paths you can do after the story version has been completed). And given my enormously bad luck with dungeon running one can only imagine how well that turned out. With the exception of one person, the rest of the group has never ran this one before. And one of them has never, despite according to the amout of achievement points she had, which was as much as robean's, even ran a dungeon before. Yeah, this person has been playing since 2012 and has never once ran a dungeon before. -_-
Anyway, after lots of dying and wiping 2 people in our group left, leaving me and just one other person. Luckily it was the one who ran this before. Things were a struggle, but we still managed to press forward. But after me and him died during a boss fight I had to leave, since I still had a Fantasy Strike stream to do.
And the fantasy Strike session went okay. I mostly played as Quince (the illusionist fighter. See Monday's blog post), just practicing and watching tutorial and replay videos of him in action, trying to watch how the experts play him. It was here that all of a sudden I got sleepy even though I slept good (sleep apnea? god help me if it is), so I just shut the stream down, as there's no point in continuing on.

A pretty good Pinball FX3 session today. But when I started transitioning over to Pinball Arcade my internet got cut off (either it was due to planned maintenance or an outage, my ISP wasn't sure either :/>). So I was spinning my wheels the rest of the morning. -_-

It was all Guild Wars 2 today, doing the usual mat crafting. And I only was able to do 2 out of 3 open-world dailies, since the last one was inaccessible (I have to do a bunch of quests in order to unlock the next zone, kinda the way FF XIV works). But I did however, manage to complete the questline that unlocks one of the other expansion areas, so I can now do any dailies that occur there, like what happened today (had to complete events - Guild Wars 2's version of FATEs - in this particular area). Otherwise, as I had pretty much done everything I could about 30 minutes early and I was at a good stopping point, I just went ahead and shut down for the night (have to work tonight, so there's that as well).
