TuesdayROFLMAOSo, last night/this morning . . . . . Hmmmmm. I'm thinking that there might be a sea change in the way that I do my blog posts, as I'm doing almost as much activity
AFTER my stream as I am during it.
But anyway, last night/this morning I kept on going on Guild Wars 2, doing all my dailies and stuff. And I also started buying a bunch of various cheap recipes & dyes. And unlike FF XIV, once you unlock a dye, you can use it as many times as you want. To be fair though, you have to use a "Transmutation Charge" - Guild Wars 2's version of a Glamour Prism -
EVERY TIME you want to glam a piece of your gear, so I guess there's a trade-off (ie there are no glamour dressers in gw2). And I also recorded a video of me downing a couple of world bosses as well (see above), something I decided to do on the spur of the moment.
Showed my thief some love this time, only playing my engineer long enough to kill a couple world bosses. But otherwise, I just got all his logistical needs taken care of, then went and killed a couple of world bosses as well. I like my thief overall, but not enough to play him consistently (has plenty of stun breaks, but next to no Stability - aka Arm's Length - buffs, can't support/heal worth a shit either).
And like yesterday, I also spent a little bit of time buying some cheap recipes, after remembering that recipes are account-wide, unlike World of Warcraft. I plan to do the same with dyes as well.
The LP vinyl I played this time around were:
Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
Queen - Flash Gordon Soundtrack
The Golden Era of Dixieland Jazz, 1887-1937
WednesdayThis morning, I was
ABSOLUTE ASS at playing Pinball. I didn't even last maybe 15 minutes, then I just called it off.
NOTHING was hitting. I was in pure stormtrooper form for sure! Oh, I didn't even bother saving the video, I just deleted it immediately. So, I guess I'll try again next week.
:/>Pretty good Guild Wars 2 session today. I mostly worked on map completion where, like FF XIV, there's many different things you can do in open-world maps, from exploration to completing tasks for people. I did most of one, and probably tomorrow I'll try to finish it off.
And I also experimented a bit more with an elite specialization for the engineer, called the "holosmith", which would be gw2's cross between a paladin and a machinist. The spec is centered around a "heat" mechanic, where it builds up over time. And if you can get to at least 50% you deal extra damage and/or your abilities get buffed. But if it hits 100% however,:
You take a lot of damage, and all your abilities are immediately put on cooldown. So it's a balancing act.
Oh, and here's the records I played today:
Heart - Dreamboat Annie
Redd Foxx - Laff Your Ass Off
The Chieftans - Self-Titled Debut
Okay, nappy-nappy time, and then I have to get ready for work.
<Take care>, guys. And have yourselves a good night/day.
