A very odd thing happened yesterday. My latest Modern Girl story, which was number 2 on the top blog entries, was suddenly removed and is no longer there.
It had NOT expired since it had been put out on Jan 8th. It just vanished from the list for some reason. It's very odd and I wonder if anyone else has ever had that happen to them.
I suspect the moderators did something. Why? The only thing I can think of is that the story did have a little foul language in it. If that was what caused the removal then oh well, so be it. I mean my writing rarely ever hits the top blog posts, so I don't know if changing things up is worth it in case another one shows up there. Only the Modern Girl series has anything like that in there, but it currently seems that it is my most popular series, so it may get into the top posts again.
Sigh, I don't know, I like writing Annabel that way for the modern tales, but I also kind of like seeing my stories up there. Oh well, we'll see if I change things.
All of my most popular blogs have language and basically call the entire community trash. And they never appear at the top. Makes sense if they are filtered by a moderator.
Is it just a popularity thing? Or did the entire blog post get removed from lodestone?
no Esper, it's still there in my blog entries, just removed from the most liked blog posts area. Like I said, the only reason I can see why it was removed is because of language.
Well Ari, if you have a lot of likes on them, over 100 views, and they are NOT up there, then yes, it is probably the reason.
What happens if a post gets flagged by someone, do they remove it entirely?
