It's been over a month since I put out any new writing because of the patches. I have been writing up a bunch of stuff in the meantime, so I will release some of it for my fans so they get their fix. ;p
Dear Sisters:
Do you accept help from others? Of course you do, why wouldn't you to make something easier? Of course SOME people would say it is better to try and accomplish things yourself, but those people are STUPID! WHY work sooooo hard doing something yourself when you can push some (or all) the work on someone else! It's called working 'smarter' not 'HARDER' people!"
MDP: (pops in, reads, sighs) "I will say Girl, that right there is you being your quintessential self."
Anna: (looks annoyed then brightens) "Oh? And that's 'good' right? I mean it IS good advice."
MDP: "In your world, yes, in the REST of the world......."
Anna: "Um......you FORGOT to say 'yes' to that too stupid Dragon."
MDP: (sighs) "Trying to change you is a higher challenge than the most insurmountable mountain."
Anna: "Mountain? You have wings silly, just FLY over it."
MDP: (groans)
As I left off in my other letter, (before I got sick and had to stop. Oh by the way, STILL sick Alea! But as a dutiful sister, I am continuing this for YOU!), I was racking my brain trying to think of a way to reach that stupid Mt. Gulg, where that super fat Vauthry was hold up. Flying was out of the question, and we could not just walk up there since you know, the stupid mountain was LEVITATING! UGH, this was CRAP sisters, there was NO way to GET to it!
By now all of the Scions were here and trying to figure out the solution to the problem. No one had any idea what to do when suddenly Kitty Kat blurts out this insane idea of building a super giant talos thingy to reach up to the mountain and grab it. I mean SERIOUSLY? She REALLY needed to stay away from whatever catnip she was partaking in, and I was about to tell her so when I was interrupted by Chai-Nuzz, who started muttering to himself about how it might ACTUALLY work. OK people, we do NOT encourage the crazy cat lady!!!!!
Minnie: (pops in, reads, gives severe frown) "Annabel, HOW could you write that? You know very well that Y'shtola is very intelligent. You make her sound like some insane lunatic!"
Anna: (looks annoyed, then surprised) "What, you mean she is ISN'T? Could have fooled me."
Minnie: "Which is NOT terribly hard to do with you Honey, but that's beside the point. Just because you hate strong, powerful women does not mean you have to slander them ALL the time."
Anna: "Of COURSE it does."
Minnie: (looks surprised) "Annabel!....wait, why?"
Anna: "Well someone has to say what everyone thinks of you. I might as well be the one to do it."
Minnie: "I....you....Ugh....Wait, WHAT did you say?????......"
MDP: "Wow Girl, she's actually speechless."
Anna: "About damn time, unfortunately, it probably won't last long."
Seeing that we really had no better idea to fall back on, (yeah, we're a pretty pathetic group), the others decided to try to make Meow Meow's idea work. Me, I chose to stay OUT of the whole thing so I could laugh at and blame EVERYONE else when her insane plan totally failed! Hey, this Blonde ditz ain't THAT dumb!
Minnie: ".......No, TOO easy."
Anna: "SEE Dragon, KNEW she would not stay speechless for long, the Ascians would win before THAT ever happened."
Minnie: "Annabel!"
Seeing that they were onboard with the plan, ol' Chai-fuzz began rattling off everything he would need to build the thing and Gods it was a LOT of crap! All the while he is doing this I am thinking, if they try to make ME gather ALL this crap, I will quit this insane liberation movement right here and now! To my further surprise though they didn't. Get this Sisters, they suggested that the people of the various lands of the First ACTUALLY get off their asses and use their collected skills to....gasp, HELP save their OWN planet. I swear Sisters, you could have knocked me over with a feather when I heard that. ACTUAL.....help? HA! I would believe it when I saw it.
But, one by one the Scions suggested people that could help gather what was required and went off to go try and recruit them. I thought their chances were about as good as me NOT being bugged by some local trying to pawn off some mundane chore masqueraded as a life or death quest for survival. But hey, the impossible could happen, right?
MDP: "Hmmmm, Girl, you really don't think the people of this realm would lift a finger to help themselves?
Anna: "Are you kidding, NO way! I am telling you Dragon, from what I have seen, people are soooo lazy, they will dump their most life threatening crap on an incompetent blond ditz like me rather than try to do it themselves.
MDP: "Hmmmm, considering how often it happens, you DO have a point Girl."
Anna: "I know, right?
With the others having left, I along with Ex, were stuck with helping Chai-Fuzz work up the plans. I was thinking, yay, easy job because the silly cat really didn't need ME for that....WRONG!
The lazy fool was having a nervous meltdown having all that responsibility thrust upon him and I was thinking, "please, welcome to MY world Honey!" Well, seeing that he needed a bit of encouragement, I dug deep and did a REALLY good bitchy tirade on his lazy butt, putting the fear of God in his heart. This REALLY got him moving and we were off. SEE Sisters, my bitching IS good for something!
MDP: "Honestly, I think that is the real reason Hydaelyn chose you Girl."
Anna: "I know, right? I am REALLY good at it."
Minnie: (sighs) "I....I...WANT to retort that, but deep down I have a feeling you are right Dragon."
The first thing we had to do is try and convince the people up here on this plateau to help with the project. Chai thought it would never happen because of the whole 'being mean to them' thing, but I assured him that I had already enslaved....er convinced them to help me with whatever I needed done. I proved this by taking him to one of the towns leaders, who first balked at seeing Chai-Fuzz. But upon seeing my seething glare, he quickly fell in line and promised his town's aid as well as the other peoples help with the project. And people think that having a terrible reputation is a BAD thing! HA, you just gotta know HOW to use it!
But as usual, something ALWAYS comes up that I get stuck with, and SURE enough ol Chai says he needs something called a talos heart, a really BIG one. It seems that these 'hearts' are made from a special mineral. and he needed a LOT of it. Luckily he said those weird dwarfs might know where some was and he wanted me to go ask. I REALLY did NOT want to do this, but since Ex had the personality of a rock, I was the only one around who could really convince them to help.
Anna: "Sigh, it ALWAYS happens, get the pretty Blonde to convince people to DO stuff, I'm tired of it!"
MDP: "Um, didn't you just write that's what you are good for?"
Anna: "Um...oh yeah, but I don't have to like it ALL the time."
Minnie: "And there you see why she drove me nuts ALL the time, Annabel changes her mind about stuff at the drop of a pin."
Anna: "Hey, NOTHING wrong with that, I can have different desires at times."
MDP: "I just wish she would change her mind about spending money all the time. That's one thing she DOESN'T do!"
Anna: "Hmmmph!"
Back in the town, (was I there before? I am SURE I was!) The still enamored dwarfs were more then willing to help do hard labor for gorgeous little ol me, but there was a little problem. (Sigh, isn't there ALWAYS!) It seemed that the biggest deposits of the mineral needed were being held by a rival dwarf clan who were NOT on good terms with this one. This meant we were going to have to sneak in and find a way to steal the stuff needed from them. Now, considering ALL the crap I have done in my forced upon 'career' as the warrior of Light....Darkness...whatever, I was ok with this so off we went.
Well, I guess it was time to stick this in here so here we go, The First is the WORST!!!! It REALLY is! Here I was just TRYING to escort this poor dwarf, Korutt, to the mines when we get jumped by ALL these stupid Sin Eaters! There were dozens of them, I guess from the mountain or something, and they were being REALLY annoying pests!. Not being in a terribly good mood, I made short work of them all along with Ex's help who was tagging along because.....well, I needed SOMEONE to blame if it all went wrong. (SEE, companions ARE good to have sometimes!)
Minnie: "And THIS is why I sent Annabel on all those quests by herself."
Anna: "Oh COME ON, you SENT me all those quests by myself because you enjoyed being a pain in the ass to me!"
Minnie: "Annabel!......Ok, guilty as charged, but you DESERVED it Girl!"
Anna: (whispers to MDP) "See Dragon, Hydaelyn secretly hates me."
MDP: "Of that I have no doubt seeing you and Minfilia together."

I am surprised you went with Silly Annabel for this part, since it is supposed to be building up to a big dramatic moment (the story even tries to bait you into thinking it is the finale... unfortunately, from a meta perspective, we all know we have not seen the 2nd MSQ trial yet so it can't be so soon, ahahaha)! However, it works better than I thought. I will be surprised if there is not one or more entries to Dee before the end.
Midgardsormr should point out to Annabel that her desire to kick back and let others do all the work for you is EXACTLY what these hapless people of the First are practicing! They're just learning from your example dear! Muhaha!
LOL, honestly helltank, how could I NOT have made it silly, there was a ton of great material there for comedy.
And don't worry, there is going to be a LOT of serious stuff coming up. It will be a while before there is another comedic entry so enjoy this one while you can.
And yes, now that you say it, I kind of missed that idea of lazy First slackers, though I did mention it in the beginning Eulmore stuff. I could have used it here too.
