"You should not be housing that hoodlum! He could take you for all you have, or ... or even try to.." "Mum please calm down, he has been at my home for some time now, he's harmless. I think he just needs to find his way." my tone seemed calming to my mother, her assumption of Aeon was rather harsh, if not warranted however. "Just don't go getting yourself hurt over this man, remember you don't have to settle! You're the bloody Seer of the Royal Guard and closest advisor to the king." "Okay! Okay! just don't worry about it alright?" She sighed with distaste, "Very well, you'll stop by again soon? Your father and I are about to check on our venders for supplies, would you like to come along?" "No thank you, I should really head home, I had a long shift last night."
As I headed to my home I felt a bit more worry than normal. Aeon has not been acting normal, or... well about as normal as he can get. His actions of late have been erratic. I worry he is perhaps dealing with his demons or if they're dealing with him. My feet stop heavy at the door, feelings of dread hit me once again, as I opened the door quietly.
Peaking in I looked around in the living area. "Aeon? Are you home?" I crypt in and shut the door behind me, heading towards my room. To my surprise I was tackled to the ground from something that jumped at me from the kitchen! "Graaahhhhhhhh" it screamed as it's arms held me to the ground. Concentrating I saw the aura was Aeons, but stronger. He seemed to be in... pain? Or was it perhaps torment? "Aeon" I struggled to speak "A-" His arm reached up to strike at me. Utilizing my free arm I grabbed his face and flashed bright light into his eyes!.
He stammered up and backed himself to a wall, sulking to the ground limp. "Aeon?... are you alright?! Gods you scared me!" I stopped talking when I heard him breathing heavy, he was hiding his dreadful sorrows. "Aeon.." I approached hesitantly, kneeling down to him and looking upon him. "You should have let me die you foolish girl. Why save someone like me? Do you know what I've done in my life?! Hundreds of our people turned into slaves because of me. I'll never atone, I'll never forgive, I'll never.. forget.." he muttered at me with spite.
"Aeon, look at me... please!" He looked up to me, his eyes burning red even to me. Smiling to keep him calm I spoke to him the truth "You're not a monster, I know you're not. You may not be able to forgive yourself, but the longer you stay on this you'll dive deeper and deeper. Already it seems to be effecting you, look at yourself. Are you truly losing control of your power now that you're free?"
Not a monster she said? How would she know, We barely even know each other let alone her think she knows enough about my past. "Is their anything I can do to help you Aeon? Anything? We can make your life comfortable here, staying quiet and helping others if you would just-" I stopped her "No, their is nothing you can do right now, get away from me please, your presence alone is driving me mad." I could not deny it, living for 3 centuries or so without any affection has driven my near insanity. I still remember her touch, the one that freed my memories. How warm, beautiful it felt feeling her mind in mine own. Standing up quickly I walked to the door. "Just leave me alone, I want to go for a walk." She seemed hurt by my reaction, good. Perhaps it better she keep away from me. "Very well, do as you wish" she dropped her weapons on the ground and headed to her room seemingly upset. Now she might at least see I am a heartless monster. Opening the door, I waltzed out and slapped it shut as I took to the roads of the city, keeping my head down.
Wiping the tears from my eyes, I struggled to understand why I even cared. I slipped off my top and out of my pants standing around in my underwear, ready to take a shower when I heard a familier voice from behind me. "Mmmmm, damn you've been working out it seems white eyes." Ilberds voice, clearly, how did he get in here? I turned around to see him as he shut my room door behind him. "What in the seven hells are you doing here Ilberd!?" I quickly covered myself with my arms. "Their their dear, do you feel you have any reason to hide yourself from me? We've already been intimate enough times after all."
He continued to step forward, I found myself backed up to my bed already. Looking upon him I felt a slight bit of fear of what he may be thinking to do next. He walked around me, grabbed my arms and put my back to his front, pushing my arms down straight. He then took his right hand and began to cup a good feel at my right breast. "St-STOP" I shuddered , and pushed him away with my arm. Stammering backwards he grabbed the bed post to compose himself.
"Sophia you and I had something special, I think it's time we explore that. Properly" he said clearly smiling. "Something special? You took advantage of me! I had terrible night terrors for weeks and you used me when you saw my weakness. Then when I woke up you were not even their to comfort me. Out drinking with your mates having a good laugh at my expense! Forget whatever fantasy you might have with me Ilberd! I am Not your begging whore! Now Find your way out of my home before I have you arrested for assaulting a Royal Guard.
His anger took over, "How-" I stopped him holding up my hand "OUT NOW!" I screamed at him. Rather then pick a fight he backed out and quickly left my home slamming the door behind him. That poor door is going to need new hinges soon. I continued to undress and took a shower quickly, putting on my gown and nothing more afterwards. Looking down to my bed I collapsed upon it and stretched. Grabbing a pillow, hugging it close I quickly fell into an exhausted slumber.
Stopping in the middle of the road I found myself grabbing at my chest in thriving pain. I want, no I need her. She's the only female of our kind I've met in over a century, above all she treats me well. My eyes began to glow again. The primitive nature of an Esper is beyond normal mortals. Our desires needs be met, or we will look for them in other matters.
Standing up I find myself unable to move forward any longer. If I don't go back now, I'll probably regret it. Turning around I swiftly headed back to Sophias home, I hope she can forgive me. For what I must do now she may understand how much of a monster I truly am.
"Mmm....." I murmured suddenly feeling awake, in my bed. Some day off this is turning out to be. Looks like I'm going to have to just go out later, have a drink with Raubahn. Wait.... my eyes adjusted to seeing aether again, someone is in here... but who- "Hrmm......" Aeon! Oh no.. he seems to be- He jumped onto the bed and pinned my arms to my bed post, before I realized it, they were chained!
"Aeon!, NO!" He stopped looked at me in the eyes. He brought his head to my neck and licked it, moving his mouth to my ear lobe and taking a bite at it. "ahh... stop, Stop!" "No, Anything I need" his sentences were making less sense. Wait, anything he needs.... I did say that before.. "I didn't mean-' stopping myself I gave it a quick thought. Perhaps this wasn't the smartest idea for me but, if it helps, perhaps he will calm down. Allowing myself to calm, I felt my gown being torn off. "Aeon, just..... gently ... gently..."
I awoke several hours later, my much more clear, however I don't remember much of- All the images quickly rushed to my head, as I looked down to see Sophia laying close to me in her bed. She was.... cuddling? Looking at her closely I realized she had bruises. How rude of me, I've hurt her and she did not fight me. Trying to move to get away before I do any more harm I felt her grab harder onto me. "No" she said "stay please, I wanna wake up next to someone for once." I calmed myself, and held her closely. "I'm... sorry" "Shhhh" she said quietly "I'm okay, just fall back asleep with me...." Doing as she told me, I felt a new feeling foreign to me, calm.
The Conjurer finished cleaning the child up and smiled upon me. "Congratulations Lady Sophia, you have a healthy baby girl!" She held her gently in her arms as she brought her to me and let me hold her close. Tears of joy fell from my eyes as I held this beauty in my arms for the first time. "Thank you" I said distantly. Mum and father were in the my kitchen, but had finally found themselves to my room. Aeon never leaving my side. "She's beautiful my dear girl" Father said to me. "She really is Sophia, so adorable. Look at those eyes! They developed color so quickly like yours did!" mum said happily. Kissing me on the cheek she they quickly left the room to let me rest.
Looking over at Aeon I smiled all to full of glee. "Quick eye development? Is that another Esper thing?" "Yes, we develop in many ways faster then normal race' and eventually aether will hault our age." Smiling looking down upon my beautiful little girl. "So how does she look?" "Well, she looks just as beautiful as her mother."
"Heh" I felt a tear fall from my eye to my cheek. "I wish I could see her, truly, what color hair does she have? eyes?" "Well, she has my red hair, and my red eyes... sorry I suppose that was a dominate trait." I smiled at him "Well then, Your father has quite enough red on him, same as you my dear baby girl. How about you be my Scarlette, give me a little as well?" Kissing her head as she slept in my arms I smiled at Aeon. My family has been started all thanks to him. I intend to protect it with all that I have.
