So their has been something about mobile games that has bothered me from the start of them. In particularly, despite the bad practices they have with loot boxes and pay to gain things, they all seem to have one particular flaw.
They are not fun.
Their really is no fun mobile game in comparison to ones on computer and consoles.
All the free ones have none stop in game purchase which feature immense paywalls through out the structures. Even when they have said pay walls paid for the same designs are always less fun in design then actual games.
Between grinding for things and knowing that it is useless without the paywall which offers more, better, and often only through paywalls, it makes you wonder why this is considered a game when even a casino game has more draw.
Even Pokémon Go is the worst Pokémon game aside the Pokémon Masters which is equally if not more disappointing almost immediately.
Anyone who states they enjoy these games are likely lying to themselves or can not afford real games which is likely due to the paywalls they have paid into said games.
More often they are kids whom see games with anything Pokémon and it’s an instant grab. Most likely because they have parents whom will not by them any means to give into the Pokémon none stop $ train or even buy a hand held gaming device.
A funny thought considering mobile phones now a days often cost 300$ or more and the switch and other Nintendo consoles are 300$ and less.
Even when they are games that were previously on consoles or paid for games, the controls on a mobile phone are insane and almost impossible half the time, making you wonder did anyone actually test play these before releasing them?
“Espy, why is this at all on your mind right now?”
Well.... aside from my phone being barely capable of playing Pokémon Go, I use to try to log onto it all the time before I would start work and, set up my pokeball to get a Pokémon leveled and get some extra stuffs along the way. I don’t do this anymore, because it takes about 5 min to get set up and, I no longer use it while out for walks because I found it inefficient when I have other things to do in the day.
I also rarely leave to go jogging anymore and rather do it at home. All of the Pokémon stops are rarely close to where I live and actually this entire area rarely has Pokémon pop.
I have given many mobile games a fair try. And ultimately I just have to state the fact that I would prefer a low quality 8bit game compared to any mobile game available right now..... so rant over, hopefully it was enjoyable and if you wish to comment and or make a point please go ahead :3 ❤️❤️
I have plenty of moble games downloaded onto my phone plenty are gatcha games. And one PVP game. I don't pay the loot fairy because I'm broke.
I thought it amusing reading this. Back in the day, I ACTUALLY spent $200 on an Ipod touch to be able to play the mobile app games for IOS. I played them so much I even upgraded to the Touch 2 when it came out
Back then the games were different then now, with more complete ones with no paywalls. Eventually I got bored with it and no longer do them. I do have both an Ipad and Ipad pro now, but I mainly use the small one for browsing and the larger one for Artistic stuff and digital boardgames.
