Wha'start'd as'a cleanin' out m'bookshelves ex-cure-shun turn quickly in'ta diggin' through mama's ol recipe books I fergot I had!! 'Er handwrittin' sure wa'real neat 'n' tidy like. Yer ne'er gon' guess wha'I foun'!! Mama's lucky choco balls, yes indeedy!! Righ'way I knew I needed ta'whip uppa'batch, s'I headed staight fer the Abb'rant ta'see iffen any'n was 'round fer a choco makin' 'venture. Ta'm's'prise, notta soul wa'roun... Figured I'd head fer Cocola's place on'a count'a I noticed Xais wasn'home wh'n'I left m'place. Any-hoo, I n'more'n got there'n Cocola was'bout'ta come see ME!! He wa'lookin'ta take m'out fer a lil' treat as'a thanky fer how hard I been wrokin'!! Was'n'jus'a thanky either, I won'ge'all mushy on'ya, but seems he's had'a bit'o hankerin' fer seein' if maybe we mi'jus be row-man-tickely compa'table!! We're already such goo'frens, s'I'greed ta'take i'slow 'n' see where i'leads!!
He sure was int'rested in makin' them choco balls s'we planned fer Thursd'y t'shop 'n' make'a big'ol batch'v'em!! Shoppin' wen'real smooth 'side from th'vendor n'understandin' how I say "Ku-ka-ru"..."coo'crew?" he kep'on sayin' back'ta m'li is'a forn-lan-gidge. Any'hoo, we had s'much fun makin'em back'a'm'place!! Th'wishin' on th'shootin' star over th'milk wa'th'bes'part!! Well, tha'n Cocola makin' way't'much'a wha'we now call "meple sheger", he had m'jus'a rollin'!! I'wa'righ'then I had th'idea ta'bring all these lucky choco ball'ta Jumbo Cac'pot fer'th'week ta'share wi'all the Lala I been meetin' 'n' seein' iffen I'd get brave'nuff ta'share wi'th'Lalas I hadn't yet met much at'all!!
Jumbo Cac'pot came'n'I did kinda as planned... I only shared wi'one Lala I'ha'met 'n' then had'ta work up th'cour'ge ta'share with a'few'th'Lala I hadn't yet much met. I's s'nervous I's havin'ta hold in all th'shakin' m'body wan'ed ta'do, bu'I go'through it!! E'erybody I shared wi'sure seemed real happy!! Couldn'gar-en-tee they'd be lucky fer winnin' cac'pot, but I sure do hope they were lucky somewhere tha'ni!!
M'lucky choco ball sure gave m'luck th'nex'day!! I had'ta run'ta Limsa fer more kukaru fer somethin' other than choco balls 'n' some milk t'restock th'URCHN break bar bein' tha' I promised ta'share m'pairin's fer Ish-guard-ian tea!! While practicin' soundin' out all th'words clearly on m'list, this real nifty roegadyn lady passed m'by with'a shipment t'drop off!! She was s'tall i'caught m'off guard, then I noticed'er armor'n'jus how cool she looked!! I jus'couldn'help m'self, I wanted s'bad ta'talk to'er bein' that I really wanted ta'know'bout all'er 'ventures!! I muster'd up th'cour'ge ta'ask'er if how I per'nounced kukaru sounded right'nuff 'n'wouldn't ya know it, she wasn't annoyed wi'me at'all!! We got'ta chattin' real frenly 'n' she helped m'out more'n I ever could'a asked fer!! I felt jus'burdensome fer'a'spell bu'I got th'idea ta'ask iffen I could repay'er with'a cuppa tea back at'th'company buildin'!! I can't tell'ya jus'how 'cited I was that she took m'up on it!! We had jus'th'mos' wonderful time talkin'!! I b'lieve I made'a new fren, i sure wanted ta'ask fer a picture t'gether, bu'I didn'wanna push m'luck!!
It's been a real goo'week 'n' I woulda sure been sore missin' it hadn't I worked up s'much cour'ge!! S'exhaustin' though, I'mma need a few days'a jus restin' at home putz'n'round t'get m'energy back ta'form!!
