I guess this whole mess started when I was on my way to Ul'dah. The caravan I'd hitched a ride with was attacked by a group of lizard activists. In the chaos, I suffered a neck injury, which has caused an uncontrollable twitch where I sporadically nod my head. The problem with this is, in Eorzean culture, a head nod is akin to a bloodsworn oath!
I arrive in Ul'dah, only to be conned into spending all my money on a worthless ring from a con artist traveling with me... Buddy better hope he doesn't cross my path again!
A Ul'dahn representative of some sort decided I looked dumb enough to join the "adventurer's guild" after deciding I wasn't a refugee. Joke's on him, I'm just really short and pale for an Ala Mhigan. :P
Apparently being an Adventurer is just a glorified title for courier. But I eventually did enough stupid things that I caught the attention of a group of people called the Psions of the 7th Don... And this is where the aforementioned neck injury becomes an issue...
Risking life and limb, but mostly life, I was forced to fight the leaders of these extreme activist groups plaguing Eorzea's social media. Ifrit, Garuda, Titan, Vergie Tovar, Shiva...
All the while, the Empire that destroyed my home is fighting for separation of church and state, and these trolls in black robes keep harassing the activists.
Then there was this little blip about dragons and their blood. I honestly don't remember much, as I was much more concerned with my neck injury and watching these adorable little goblins pretend to try and destroy the world.
At long last and was able to return home to try and end the Garlean occupation. But because of a very generic anime villain, I had to go save the gratuitous Asian themed land from a very generic female anime villain.
Next I found myself in another world I guess, but lo! The con man who originally robbed me was hiding here! I kited the first enemy I could find to his campsite and "returned" the ring he had sold me.
Now I'm working on helping a city of lazy murderers find social stability. It's... easier than I expected... Amazing what a change in diet can do!
Anywhoozles, that's my story so far, or at least all I really remember.
*nods head*
