The Silent BattleThere’s a silent battle that many people are fighting — hidden behind forced smiles, perfectly polished personas, and the words “I’m fine” when they’re anything but.
I'm talking about stress, anxiety, and overwhelm — fear, grief, and depression — and a laundry list of other struggles that are conveniently dismissed as “just a mood” or “someone's time of the month.”
Here's the thing. . .
Someone's pain doesn’t need your permission to be real.
And no one should ever have to justify their suffering just to be taken seriously.
Because the truth is, you never really know what someone has going on in the background of their lives or of the pain they’ve learned to neatly tuck away.
So. . .
Instead of brushing it off, we learn to listen.
Instead of assuming they're OK, we choose to care.
We do that by being aware of the subtle shifts in someone’s energy, their words, or their silence. And when we meet them where they are, with our full presence, it can be the most healing thing we offer.
Lotsa Love, Midori ♥
