Goodbye Eureka, hello Bozjan Southern Front. Or at least it will be whenever 5.3 manages to go live!
Can't say I really liked Eureka when I first went in there. Too grindy, too much walking, fate after fate after fate. I just wanted to reach the end and be done with it.
I think... the place slowly grew on me though. The penalty of death made everything a bit more exciting. Stopping to catch my breath, admiring the scenery, I soon realised just how beautiful the areas were. Was it always so pretty? Did I just miss it in my rush to finish as fast as I could?
I began to slow down, and watch the sun as it would rise, as it would set. Listened to the wind blow during snow storms, imagined what it would be like feeling the snowflakes as they fell.
I focused more on the moment and less on the end goal, and was happier for it. After all the journey is just as important, or perhaps more so, than the destination. At the very least, if its a long one might as well enjoy the ride.
