Who are we?

Welcome to The Vanguards of Dawn <<DAWN>> (VoD)! We are a very casual, sprout-friendly Free Company that has just recently been established! We're hoping to recruit lots of other new or casual players to help us grow our company into a community! The FC owner is a veteran player and is currently working on Mentorship status, and is always open to new recruits looking for a community to call home!

What do we Offer?

VoD may be small, but we are all passionate about sticking together and helping each other out. We are a group that understands that being a new player is overwhelming, and that joining dungeons or trials with strangers can be nerve-wracking. That's why we love to help fellow members finish dungeons, trials, and MSQ quests together without question! We are very supportive and laid-back, and focus on helping new players come to love FFXIV! In addition, we are highly interested in being friendly and close-knit as a group, so expect to make lots of close friends! :)

- FC Owner is a max level crafter + gatherer and has MSQ finished! Always happy to supply members with gear + glam! :)
- Buffs are always on (Reduced Rates + Heat of Battle)!
- We are currently raising gil to try and get a FC house! We may not be getting it anytime soon, but if you're interested in joining, helping, and watching the FC grow and flourish, we'd love to have you!

Roleplaying?

Although we do not roleplay in-game, we love to make original characters and discuss them, the lore of FFXIV, and their relationships with each other! We tend to talk more about our OCs in our company Discord server. If you're unsure how to roleplay or just aren't into in-game roleplay, VoD is a perfect place to still talk about original characters without the expectation of roleplaying! All of our OCs are linked to each other in terms of story and we love taking in-game photos together!

Recruit Expectations

This is a super low-stress, low-stakes FC! All we ask is that you try to be active at least once a week. We're all either employed or full-time students here, so a consistent schedule is never expected! That being said, please only apply if you are within the age group of 17 to 25 to keep everyone close-knit and comfortable. (Main time zone is EST!)

We are VERY sprout-friendly as most of this FC is comprised of new players, so if you're hoping for some help with the game, this is the perfect place for you! Just be positive, kind, and social with everyone in the company! :)
