# Quiet Refuge

### A calm place to enjoy FFXIV together.

Quiet Refuge is a small adult Free Company on Gilgamesh for players who enjoy kind company, shared adventures, and the freedom to experience FFXIV at their own pace.

We are home to sprouts, returning players, longtime adventurers, crafters, gatherers, collectors, explorers, and people still discovering what they enjoy most about the game.

Some members are naturally talkative. Others are quieter or prefer to join in from time to time. Around here, both feel completely normal.

## Life in the Refuge

Our days can include:

* Casual duties and roulettes
* Leveling and story progression
* Crafting and gathering
* Treasure maps and deep dungeons
* Mount, minion, and achievement hunting
* Older trials, raids, and side content
* Housing and Free Company projects
* Airships and submarines
* Helping someone try unfamiliar content

We enjoy having things to do together without turning the game into a schedule.

Activities are casual invitations. Join when something catches your interest, ask for company when you need it, or continue peacefully with your own plans.

## Our Atmosphere

Quiet Refuge values kindness, patience, curiosity, and respectful communication.

Experience is welcome, but ego is not required. Questions are fine. Mistakes happen. Help should make people feel more comfortable, not smaller.

There is room here for conversation, playful moments, quiet evenings, independent play, and adventures shared at the last minute.

Voice chat and Discord are available for those who enjoy them, but neither defines someone’s place in the FC.

## Growing Together

We are not trying to become the largest or loudest Free Company.

We would rather grow at a comfortable pace and build something that feels familiar, steady, and enjoyable to return to.

Sometimes community means clearing content together. Sometimes it means sharing advice, working on a project, or seeing familiar names when you log in.

Quiet Refuge is simply a place where those different moments can exist side by side.
