Since the others turned out pretty good, I got curious to see if I could use more instrumental music for the FF14 mounts.
So here you are, my two latest efforts at this using the Pegasus and Midgardsormr mounts.
Note: I was trying to adjust the volume of the music to make sure the sound effects of the game could be heard. The Pegasus music is at pretty good levels but I think the dragon music is still a bit loud for my taste. Oh well, STILL learning! ;p
Note: it's actually really easy to adjust the volume of the sound effect in VA to your desired level, I just kind of forgot to lower it more for the dragon music and was too lazy to reshoot it. ;p
Pegasus: Music piece: 'Can you read my Mind?'
Midgardsormr: Music piece: 'Dragon Training'
Yeah, I know, it's just me flying around with some bad positioning of the camera at times but I hope you like them anyway! ;p I thought the Peggie one was especially nice with it flying during the sunset.
OH! I also noticed on my video page that because I am using copyrighted music, in some locations the videos may not work. If you are in one oh those places, I am sorry you can't see them.
Second OH; The counts on the previous videos are still VERY low compared to the people who looked at the blogs. I do wonder if they are accurate or not. Only 30 views of the baby shark video with over 160 having looked at the post?????? And the cars are only SIX each! Hmmmm.
Finally, I was curious to know if anyone one had tried something like this in the lifespan of ff14 and looked. It seems long ago there was a program called FFXIV explorer that allowed you to alter things in FF14 itself. One of the things you could do is alter the mount music to play something else. It has not been updated since Heavensward, so who knows if it even works anymore. If it does, that is a way to just have it done all internally without the use of something like Voiceattack. But with Voiceattack it is super easy to change the music to something else or stop it all together to go back to the original game music.
Interestingly I can play the second video, but YouTube says the first is blocked in my country because of author rights...
And more interestingly, it is blocked by "SME" (the only music reference being Sony Music Entertainment).
I kinda want to buy you the fat cat mount to see if you'll attach nyan cat to it lol
I did not know what nyan cat was so I looked it up.....
That is SOOOOO annoying! Of COURSE I would attach it to fat cat if I had it! ;p
Ah hah! I just found out that YouTube a lot of times does NOT count embedded videos as viewed, so THAT could be the reason for the low view counts on my videos.
That actually makes me feel a lot better about doing this, knowing that maybe people are ACTUALLY watching them. ;p
