Greetings and salutations!
Saturday was a busy day. I joined Ivy's party for three rounds of Treasure Maps, but we didn't score a whole lot of loot. I joined her policy in allowed other party members to Need on my maps, because the only time I ever get loot is when it's Ivy's map. When my maps finally do drop loot, it'll only be fair to allow the others to roll on them. Got my Ruby Weapon Gwiber mount too! Next Saturday, we've planned to try and do a farm for Diamond Weapon, if we can. I expect we'll still have a couple in the learning stages at this point, but that's okay. A silent and impromptu pool party happened in front of the Estate while we were farming. I expect they were in a seperate or hidden discord call, cause it was kinda creepy.
My girlfriend got hired for a job. I wish she got something a little more secure than what she did, but the experience she'll get from this job will irrefutably aide her in getting that more secure job in the future - and hopefully nearby me.
Celestia absolutely helped me blast through a ton of my Blue Mage spells on Monday. I only have Dungeon and Masked Carnival spells left. Oh, and the Whalaqee totems. This Monday's old content farm is going to be cancelled due to the maintenance. There's been some whispers of using this activity for old Savage content in the near future. That would be neat!
Got half of my Edenmete gear for my Dragoon on Tuesday for Celestia's raid activity. The locks on that are lifting next week, so I'll be able to fill out all of my gear soon for my remaining jobs. Celestia is switching the Tuesday event to the new YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raid. Now, this is gonna have two weekly locks going. The first is the coin that's used for augmenting the Cryptlurker's gear to 530. The second is the 520 gear pieces. I'm gonna want my specific pieces here, but I'm suspecting that the Celestia activity isn't going to even try to fill this out for everyone. Or if they do, it'll probably be a "Did you skip on any loot? Then too bad." situation. So I'll just expect to need to farm this on my own time to get the specific pieces I want. Not exactly sure when we're doing this though, cause though I know we're doing it, Celestia leadership hasn't assigned a coordinator for it, yet.
We were going to do Titan Unreal for the learning activity today, but the coordinate posted a pushback on the time, and then was a no-show. I could've probably got some learning done with the others who signed up if we didn't wait, but I had other things planned to do for after the scheduled end time. This being the case, the few of us who wish to do the content anyways are planning to do it around 2:30pm Pacific on Sunday. We'll get it figured out and done somehow.
Good news is, I'm in peak health again! No more flu. The boss sent me home when I came in on Monday though, so I guess we've switched to a "Don't come back in until I tell you to." stance? I have a feeling he'll be mad if I don't show up to work on Monday though. But he hasn't responded to my email. "Damned if I do - Damned if I don't" is how that phrase goes, right?
I haven't touched my Gunpla projects for another week again. Been focusing more on some Final Fantasy 14 projects. Did a lot of Exarchic gear crafting, since quite a few of my Jobs hit eighty and needed gear, recently. Been working on getting the rest of my Jobs leveled up too. Everthing is at a minimum of level fourty-five now! Have also been trying to do some Gwiber mount farming on my own time too. Just got Titania's! I'm not going to have that new Mecha Dragon mount as soon as I would like, but I must have it!
As a new hobby, my best friend got me into Space Simulator/Survival games. No Man's Sky has really shaped up since it released! That's been fun to dabble in. Also started playing Elite Dangerous. I've been actually appreciating this game. I ordered a Hands-On Throttle and Stick setup just to enhance the experience! I'll be able to use it with MechWarrior Online too, so that's exciting.
I've got to get back to proffessional self-improvement though! I need to be picking up more new and useful skills for my job. I feel like I've been stagnating at my programming skills, since my job doesn't have me do a wide variety of projects, just a few things. I need to make myself markettable so I can compete for higher wages. I make minimum wage right now as a professional programmer with a college education, but my girlfriend would be making leagues more than me teaching elementary in my area, if she got a job in that nearby me. I need to work harder.
I'm super excited for next week! Let's do this!
