Gooooooooooooooooood morning and happy sunday everyone!
It's been just over 3 weeks since my return to the wonderful world of Eorzea. And oh so much has happened, and also hasn't.
First up, how are y'all doing? Good? Awesome. I'm doing ok-ish. Health has been a bit of a kick in the teeth lately but nothign a few good naps won't be able to cure. At least in my case. Hashtag-that-CFS-life yo.
Beyond that, life is good, games are good. The cats are doing well too!
Honestly, I'm not even sure if I ever mentioned my cats here. Two gorgeous babies! Twins! Tho they are getting a bit spoiled since they are demanding my attention now even after they had it for hours. And half the time it's just cause they want to go outside, or that they want food.
In the world of Eorzea, three things are worth mentioning.
First up, I have finally fully finished Heavensward and the Dragonsong War MSQ! Meaning I just started Stormblood. Wooooo!
So far I've not gotten too far in, but I have decided to go through the SB expansion as a gunbreaker instead of a Red Mage or Bard. As both of those are at 70, Getting GNB up while I'm doing this would be the better decision. But more on the leveling later.
Secondly, my FC leader has annointed me to be the Raid Leader of the Coils of Bahamut after I expressed interest. Two points I need to make here:
A) WHAT?!?!?!And B) W H A T ? ! ? !
I know it's ARR Raid content but STILL!
Tho I will say, I take it seriously. I'm reading up as best I can on the Coils and the boss fights (I have been warned about Twintania, very much so...) just to prep. NGL, I've never been a Raid Leader before. So yeah, it'll be exciting that it'll be my turn to shout at people to put on MORE DOTS MORE DOTS! ..... OK STOP DOTS!
God that animation never gets old...
Lastly, and most importantly, my wonderful partner has joined me in the world of Final Fantasy XIV! Guys. I cannot tell you how exciting that is.
At present there is still a bit of a gap, due to either my levels being too high or too low and me being 1-2 expansions ahead, but that's not stopping me from helping where I can.
Plus, useful for her that I have a tank and healer class high enough to insta queue her for dungeons.
She's currently an arcanist, possibly moving up to Summoner. What can I say? Girl loves her carbuncles and her books.
I'm excited to see where the road leads here. The biggest issue we face together is that there's just TOO MANY GAMES!!
Seriously. Her favourite game, Kingdoms of amalur, is getting a re-release this month. So that is going to occupy her as well. Plus there's Animal Crossing for us both. We play Apex together, R6 Siege, GTAO...
Where do we find the time Q_Q
First world problems, I know. But hey! Every world shared with her is a blessing. Truly.
Oh, and as a final mention, since about a month, I have been a DM for DND. 2 sessions into a campaign and it is going GREAT! Absolutely love the DM aspect after having been a player for the longest time (I say longest, but I barely played to begin with).
And with that, I'll bid you all a Lali-ho! Enjoy your sunday, prep for 5.3 and as always: Sic Parvis Magna!
Oh also: Wear a god damn mask
. This pandemic is absolutely insane with how long it has been lasting because of some absolute morons who refuse to do some basic civility and stop spreading a disease.
I'm trying to find out how to add screenshots from my PS4 to the blogs without having to cross save them constantly. But at this point, I think it'll be the only solution. But for now, some well placed GIFs <3
