Being put to sleep, kidnapped, and forced to fight a god isn't as fun as I thought it'd be. Turns out, a baddie will always look the part no matter what world you're in. Ungust wouldn't exactly pass as a classy gentleman, at least not in my book, and his allegiance with the Amalj'aa doesn't make him any better. Next time I see him I'm shearing that sorry head-hedge of his right off!
My fight with the primal spread through word of mouth faster than I could snap my fingers! I was scouted by the three Grand Companies, all with a similar goal but different means of achieving it. I don't fancy moving out of my newfound home in Limsa Lominsa so I agreed to join hands with the Maelstrom. Besides, La Noscea's lands are riddled with man-eating fauna and inexplicable remains of some giant creature.
The guildmaster was quite a handful, and I don't suspect today to be the end of his riddles and games. Aside from K'rhid's personality almost being a mirror of K'lyhia's, I get the impression that he keeps a close eye on members of the guild behind our tails. He handed me a replacement grimoire to deliver to K'lyhia and I haven't ushered a word about it to him. This proved to have helped her break out of her depressive state and now she's in high spirits and ready to go back to formulating those... extensive strategies of hers.
Oh! During my travels I also came across a recruitment post for a Free Company comprised of like-minded adventurers on the notice board in the city. I was hesitant at first seeing as how heavily a loss impacted Edda and how quickly people shoved all the blame on her, but despite this I gave it a chance. Adventuring alone can get quite lonely, you know! Luckily, my choice didn't come back to bite me because everybody I've met there so far has been very kind and supportive. It would be an understatement to say that I'm ecstatic to see what tales we can weave together as one big family! I also need to take a photo of all of us one day and I'll be sure to stick it onto this page~
