Sired by Seeker of the Sun R'auric Nunh, and second born to Kiri Sao, a Keeper of the Moon, R'kiri Tia was ostracized for being of mixed tribe. As not to appear weak, R'auric ignored R'kiri and forsook him before his leader and Nunhs.
Rejected and neglected by the majority of his tribe, R'kiri left. He changed his name to respect his Keeper heritage, and has been hence forth known as Kiri'to Sao. Because of his past, he prefers solitude, but will arise to anyone's defense (even if no one else will).
Young and idealistic, he ventures forth to Eorzea to discover the courage and light with him.
