Lunae Ambrosyn was born in Gyr Abania during a time of war, scarcity, and instability. As a toddler, her parents joined the Garlean Empire to escape poverty and violence, relocating to a small village within Garlemald’s territory. To the people of Gyr Abania, this marked them as traitors, though Lunae herself knew nothing of their origins or the resentment surrounding them.
Raised entirely within Garlean culture, Lunae grew up disciplined, composed, and methodical. Her calm demeanor and analytical mind were fostered by her education and environment. Lunae became a Garlean loyalist, not out of indoctrination, but conviction. She believes the Empire can bring order, peace and technological advancements to a world plagued by dangerous magic.
In her childhood, Lunae met two troublemaking brothers named Fenris and Lykos. They grew up together within the same imperial sphere, sharing lessons, expectations, and quiet moments of normalcy. Due to Lykos’ sudden disappearance and Fenris near-death experience, Lunae and Fenris’ bond formed naturally; steady, trusting, and deeply rooted. As they grew older, Lunae’s affection for Fenris matured into something unspoken but enduring. When Fenris was needed for a secret mission requested by Renkenber Omnia Electic Company that could have him gone for a while, there was no fracture between them. Instead, there was a promise that once he comes back, neither of them would be a coward about their feelings.
Tragedy struck when the Garlean-controlled village where Lunae lived with her parents was invaded by Ala Mhigan Freedom Fighters. The attack was brutal. Lunae’s parents were killed, and she was gravely wounded, left among the dead. She should have died. Instead, she was discovered by Garlean forces under the rubble and transported to Garlemald, where she was placed under the care of imperial scientists. Through controlled study and excruciating experimentation, Lunae learned to awaken new powers.
Once released from experimentation, Lunae immersed herself in medicine and aetheric theory. She learned to heal precisely, protect efficiently, and stabilize both aether and life on the battlefield. Her faerie companion, Angelo, responds to her presence as if recognizing a kindred existence. She also studied the lost and forbidden arts of Lemure and taught the secrets to her allies. She later joined the Rekenber Omnia Electric Company and rose in the ranks with her arcane knowledge.
Silly, warm and a little chaotic, Lunae forms friendships easily to push away the dreary moods
