Santinimus Valentin, or as he is know on stage: Santi (sahn-tee) Valentine.
A citizen of Ul-dah, Santi made a name for himself as a street magician, often using his magics to distract some of the Saphire Avenue's wealthier patrons while his fellow street urchins picked their unsuspecting pockets. This would have landed him in prison, or worse, had he been caught by anyone other than Mistress Momodi after he had nearly set fire to the quicksand (a notable feat as it is almost entirely made of stone). After hearing his story and learning that Santi had never taken a cut of his "friends" earnings, she gave him the options of turning himself in, or joining the Thaumaturges Guild so as to find a true use for his talents.
Since then, Santi has continued to study the arts of destruction magic, as well as any other schools of Arcane arts he can discover on his many adventures around Hydaelyn.
Santi still Performs his magic shows, but now with far less dubious intentions.
