A retired adventurer from Vana'diel, Darian believed his adventuring days were over after fighting countless battles with his treasured friends. However, while out harvesting in Sarutabaruta, he was dragged into a type of Cavernous Maw he'd never seen before, whisking him to Eorzea.
While he gets along with the guild that took him in as one of their own, he wants nothing more than to return to his wife, Karmilla, as well as his mentor, Ithan-Yuran... or, at the very least, to find a stable path between the two worlds so he can continue discovering the wonders of Hydaelyn.
