Zarian was born in an underground tribe that dwell in a small network of caves that was, much to his surprise, unexpectedly close to the Heretic's den in Snowcloak, Central Coerthas Highlands. It is uncertain as to why this particular group of Raen strayed so far from their homeland, Zarian has begun to wonder if there was some kind of emancipation, or banishment, or perhaps even an eloping. Their customs are very different from those found in Sui no Sato, though they share the same sense of privacy, and do not welcome outsiders.
