While relaxing in her linen coatee reading a book on The Greatest Raids In The History Of Eorzea, Lady Kahori Harukawa of the Celebrity! Free Company took the time to be interviewed by retainer Natsuki Suzuura, her childhood peer, on the importance of Mordion Gaol in establishing firm and fair measures against those who would disrupt the game's community and issue negative vibes in any shape or form.
Natsuki: My name is Natsuki Suzuura and today, I am interviewing my friend, Kahori Harukawa, on Mordion Gaol's importance to Eorzeans far and wide. Kahori, thanks for joining in.
Kahori: My pleasure, Natsuki, honored.
Natsuki: As you all know, Kahori is closing in on Level 40 in two Disciples of the Hand classes but is leaning towards resuming White Mage work later. In the meantime, she is reflecting on her time her by talking about one of the important features of the experience...Mordion Gaol. What do you know about Mordion Gaol, Kahori?
Kahori: If you are just reading this chat transcript and are new to where I do my work, Mordion Gaol is a prison located here in my city of residence, Limsa Lominsa, in the Coral Tower. It is where those who would do harm to the community are sent to, where they are issued sanctions as approved by the forces that be.
Natsuki: As a retainer, I can never be placed at Mordion, and you have not been at Mordion yet. Good thing?
Kahori: It definitely is a good thing and I will never be sent there because of the way I do my work. I envision myself as a noble player that helps inexperienced peers progress. I reward new players for effort. I never engage in real money trading. I never post macros in chat. I never use profanity, racial or sexist comments anywhere. Tolerance, diversity, peace...because of the image I want to uphold myself as a noble gamer looking to better myself and those around me, I could never envision being here.
Natsuki: So you play everything by the book, huh?
Kahori: Oh yes, Natsuki. I never put myself in a situation where I could be talking to a warden that is low ranked in terms of play but has high authority and deserves to be respected. There are people who choose to not respect the rules of engagement and end up being placed in Mordion.
Natsuki: You've seen the actual footage of moments of violators talking with the wardens, I take it?
Kahori: They are honest, benevolent wardens. Game Masters who look out for the community and deserve to be respected for playing their role. The power of a safe community and rewarding experience for the world is what Eorzea prides itself on. Therefore, I show my undying gratitude to the forces of justice protecting noble law-abiding citizens like myself. Without their enforcement of the laws of Eorzea, being an adventurer would truly be a dangerous occupation, a calling without a purpose. Besides...
Natsuki: Besides?
Kahori: I'll take sleeping in an actual bed at the Mizzenmast over spending even a few Eorzean minutes at Mordion. Dare I say it, it's another reason why I love being a citizen of Limsa Lominsa: it is the home of Eorzea's main prison. This city has it all, and I will continue to enjoy working here. It's been fun.
Natsuki: Okay, that's it for now. Thank you, Kahori.
Kahori: Thank you as well. Cheers.
