Hi, I'm Tamsin! I'm a Picto main with a fantasia addiction. I decided to finally come up with a backstory for my character, Q'tahmi Vheo that could align well with the events of the game, as either a warrior of light, or a normal adventurer.
Q'tahmi is from Gyr Abania, and was born there during the reign of King Theodric. During Theodric's rain, he outlawed worship of Rhalgr, and had made the state patron Nymeia, Rhalgr's master. When Ala Mhigo fell to the Garlean Empire, several Q-tribe women with young children, including Q'tahmi's mother Q'yanhi, fled as refugees to Ul'dah, bringing their children with them. The rest of the tribe, including Q'tahmi's father Q'vheo Nuhn, stayed behind in Gyr Abania to become part of the resistance.
Q'tahmi took up adventuring as an adult, heading to Limsa Lominsa to experience the food and sea breeze found in La Noscea. It was here she learnt how to use arcanima, which became her favored method of combat, instead of the pugilism she learnt in Ul'dah. While adventuring, she found she enjoyed being on a ship, and used her arcanima to aid the Maelstrom as an adventurer with healing their soldiers in their campaigns against the Sahagin.
After the events of Baelsar's Wall, when Raubahn declared the Immortal Flames would be aiding the resistance in Gyr Abania, Q'tahmi applied for a transfer to the Immortal Flames, as she had always wanted to return with her mother to her homeland.
Q'tahmi's favourite things include dancing, eating sweet treats, and burgers. She despises mint and cucumbers. Since she grew up in Ul'dah she has very mixed feelings on tribe lifestyle, being more of a city cat. She currently lives in the Goblet, and her mother has returned to Gyr Abania to resume tribal life.
