Varian Cadrioux was an Elezen Knight under Yuhelmeric's Chocobo Knights. When he discovered he held the power of the echo he left to join the Eorzean Alliance at Cartenaue. Being saved by Louisioux he ended up being transported forward. Instead of returning to Ishgard, Varian chose to fight in the coliseum and later on chose to walk the path of the paladin. Varian is now the leader of the Cerulean Knights. A knightly order built to delve dungeons and protect innocent people.
