Hyur Father/Lalafell Mother

Born and raised in the far eastern archipelago of Hingashi in the residential area of Shirogane. Kaius was brought up learning the way of the katana. His father a Hyur swordsman native of Hingashi met his mother a Dunesfolk Lalafell whilst adventuring abroad in Thanalan, she was a kind hearted and gentle woman who specialized in the art of healing as a white mage who had studied in the Black Shroud. Upon the conclusion of their adventures together the two would return to Hingashi where they would wed. Many years later they were blessed with a son, a rare spectacle for a couple such as theirs. For a Lalafell Kaius is rather tall, albeit not nearly as tall as his father. Training began the moment he was able to take his first steps and pick up his first practice blade. Reaching the age of five Kaius was considered full grown, at least physically however it wasn’t until he turned 14 that he was allowed to set out on his own adventures. That has now been seven years ago now. His journey began with him seeking passages from the Kugane to the western territory of La Noscea - Limsa Lominsa. While he was present there he learned a variety of skills including those harnessed by both the rogues and shinobi of the lands and trained with them for some time. He later would travel together to Ul’Dah where he encountered a Rogadyn by the name of Lilly Ashlance, a fierce and mighty paladin while accepting quests from the local Adventurer’s Guild. The two would travel about Thanalan and complete hunting requests for the local adventurers guild. The two budding adventurers would set out once more, this time for the Black Shroud where they would meet Akeer Swiftwind an Auri whitemage and Uni Nightwalker a Miq’ote Bard. At times they would travel together and at times they would venture forth on their own, regardless they would swiftly become close friends and allies, this lead to them forming the free company “Sanctum Noir”.
