Katta Mihgo, a young Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te, was discovered by a family of Hyur in Gridania after her birth parents, poachers in the South Shroud, met a tragic end while fleeing Wood Wailers. The Caelestis family found her abandoned and, seeing her innocence and resilience, took her in as their own. Katta embraced her new home and family, adopting their surname and the name "Katrina" to reflect her fresh start. If asked why this name, she will tell you it is to honor the spirit of an adventurer often seen in her dreams from a realm unknown, one she calls Vana'diel. This is an adventurer's spirit that she feels resonates with her own.
