Final Fantasy 8A wild imaginationAt the time when "video game channel" was still a thing in my country, I was able to have a light taste of the huge world of video games, and thanks to it a few games that was really stands out in my eyes that keeps me wanted to play it so BAD xD
Devil May Cry, the game I always love even I've just watched the intro~
White hair, red suit, huge sword, double handguns, demonic power and he is COOL!
But this is not the only game that attracts me, there's another one which I only able to watch it's CG intro, the Final Fantasy 8! It's epic music, epic fighting cutscene, stylish characters, gunblades! fire magic! black and white feathers! demonic queen character! Back in the day when I was a kid, I am so looked forward to it because how good it looks! I don't have a CG INTRO VIDEO idea back then, so I thought that was an actual gameplay footage that was cut and put together in order to make the opening movie, you can tell I thought playstation one is so AWESOME that it can run game graphics so good no consoles can compare to it! At this point my imagination has ran wild, because the intro movie has epic fight scenes, I thought it was an action rpg. And so I beginning to start imagine it bigger and bigger which I thought it was a master piece that no games can compare to it lol xD....but this is not for long when my cousin has finally able to get a pirated copy of this game, and things has started gone bad :V
[to be clear pirated console games in my country during 2000s is very common, the kids in those days have no knowledge what is pirated copy..... :/]

My 10 years old mind has blown when I saw my cousin got this copy, I can't wait to play it! Well, everything has gone so well until I see the actual game when squall is lying on his bed. And everything is going worse and worse and worse xD It's actual gameplay is totally not the game I was imagine, not an action RPG, it is a turn base and the graphics looks horrible and it is nothing like the intro video, I hate it so much that I've felt it had lied to me, my 10 years old heart has broken when I faced truth. Since that day, I hated it so much even I was in the teenage era, I cannot forgive it until 5 years ago lol. To be clear back in the day when I was a kid, that is an era with dial up connection with VERY EXPENSIVE FEE, and I was restricted to watch tv shows because of my bad results in school, that makes me know a little and always gone wild when I am imagine the things that I wanted to. As a game it self, I've gave a huge bad judge about it and this was because of my naivety. But everything has changed when I was started to learn more about japan video game industry when I was 17, I've decided to touch it again......but it doesn't ran well lol....

At the time I thought japan is the best country in this world, this is dumb.
I was effected by my classmates that Anime and japan culture is the BEST and we must LOYAL TO IT NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE.
Every of these things are DUMB, and that makes me done some horrible decision when I was 17. As a WEEBOO I want every single thing is JAPANESE! because I thought I will live in japan someday in the future so I must forced my self to live with it, and also learn japanese xD. Yes I find a way to download a iso version of the Final fantasy 8 in the internet, because I want to become a japanese die hard fan so badly I choose to download the japan version of the game so you know, JAPAN IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
I try to play it with everything is japanese, and all I can say I cannot fully experience the story it self in this way, even though the game is great because I've finally accepted it, but I cannot enjoy the story when the language I am using is not even learned well.... It is so hard it has forced me to learn it in very hard way, but I cannot get over with it, I've gave up :V in this time I started to learn my self that my actions of being a WEEBOO is a totally mistake, but I was choose to ignore it because of my stubbornness, I was finally accept and change it and be my self once again when I was in 19.
A new start with my true self once againAfter finish my high school, I decided to study about arts and 3d animations so I go to an art academy, even I was not able to finish my first course because I have some conversation issue with a few lecturers and students, I left the academy start working my project with my partner and work at random places in order to have some money to live :V and I decide to download an english version of the game for my psp because my psp is able to play pirated games lol, seriously I will pay my sins when I have an extra money, I will buy it from steam :D I haven't finish it because my psp is old and it is dying at the moment (my action buttons is not working if I didnt play it often), but the game it self is great! As a playstation one JRPG game, I have no reason to hate it because of how good content it is, the story it self is not my taste but I like it, I like Squall being so cool and the funny dude that uses his own version of final heaven, and also every single character here seems can summon GF because I am able to put a single GF in each character~ It will be better and better if I keep play it but I have FF14 and other games to deal with so I put this away for a while till today.
I will enjoy this game again when I decided want to play it full day, I've planned to get a steam version of this game because HAIL GABEN!!! xD

Here it is, FF8 is the first Final Fantasy game I have known. If you are asking me why not the first six games? Well because I was not 7 in the NES and SNES era, Sony's playstation is the first game console I've known, now you can guess my true age now xD
This is a title that I want to focus on the Final Fantasy series I knew starts when I was a 7 years old kid, I only learned the first six games in the recent years so I will not put those games into this topic. The next Final Fantasy game is FF7, I will post it when I have a free time, seriously the stormblood will be launch in tomorrow!! I hope I will not forget to write it in the future xD
