You'll recall I posted my FFXIV benchmark results a long time ago. They were:
High Desktop at 1920x1080 = 1550 "Slightly Low"
Standard Laptop at 1280x720 = 5900 "Very High"
Well, I treated myself this Christmas and ordered an ASUS Radeon 7770 graphics card. I previously had a GeForce GT 640 and got the settings you see above.
I just installed the new graphics card and check out my score now.
High Desktop at 1280x720 = 7920 "Extremely High"
I'm diving into the game itself now. I can't wait to see it!!
Yeah, you know that GeForce 640 has "4" number means low-mid end graphic card. "6" number means generation which doesn't matter on too much
As I know about Radeon, the 7000, 8000 & 9000 are high-end graphic card which comparable to GeForce (x)70, (x)80 & (x)90; which (x) refer to generation number.
With your current card now the result could be "Very High" if you benchmark it with 1920x1080.
Good luck with your new card & enjoy \(^.^)/
