Friday Night/SaturdayAaaaand it was a really good night at work last night. Another average freight load that got done fairly early, after which we got sent to other areas. Definitely no complaints. And I got home and did my usual
Soulstone Survivors session. This time, I did a low-level Titan Hunt run with my assassin main, experimenting with some new abilities and stuff. And I definitely had to zonk out afterwards, too tired and torn from the worknight. Definitely looking forward to the weekend.
And an okay SS stream later on. A dead one, with noone coming on. I did a few Titan Hunt runs, but they kinda sucked. I kept getting what I call "Megabonk moments", where they were giving me really hard battles right at the start of a run, before I can even get my character up and running. I ended up toning down the difficulty to almost nothing for the rest of them, so I'm actually defeating them in a reasonable amount of time. Not to mention that I had to deal with some big time PC lag for some reason. Finally I just said fuck it and bailed (getting sleepy from "only" 4 hours of sleep as well). Sheesh!

ORIGINALLY this was going to be a
Pinball Arcade stream. But the new wired controller I got was too small for my hands. And I can't play wirelessly, due to Bluetooth's input lag. So I had to give Pinball a miss. *sigh* Otherwise, for Soulstone, it was almost as bad as yesterday. I managed to push progression in Titan Hunt. But I also had to cancel a run or two because, once again, I'm getting Megabonk Moments right out of the gate. Luckily,
ValeroRVC came by, who is just learning the game. I showed him a thing or two. So, all in all, a good but not great stream.
....and the same for the afternoon/evening stream as well. Today was a day of "Biting off more than I can chew", trying to push Titan Hunt progression with mid-tier (or worse) characters that have no business doing so. Made for some pretty embarrassing defeats. Eventually I went back to my assassin main and did a short Overlord run before just calling it good. Oh, and
og_PowerFantastic dropped by to lurk (I actually appreciate it when lurkers do this. Lets me know that somebody is at least watching, if not interacting). I might take it easy for the next stream, but we'll see.
Monday Morning.......Nope! Didn't happen! I still pushed progression, and
SURPRISINGLY did it. I defeated the +5 Void King with the
Blacksmith class, a fun joke novelty class that I could hardly play, because my game/stream slows down to a crawl from all the stuff he can do. I actually made a build that caused almost no lag at all (all melee weapons). So, off to +6 now. Yes!
Oh, and I started rerererererewatching the
Mirror's Edge: Catalyst game movie yet again. I kinda wanna try this game out, but I most certainly don't have the PC for it. And this would be the kind of game where I
DON'T want to turn all the graphics settings to the lowest to make it streamable, since it looks so awesome. Ahh well. Someday.......
