The basic idea behind the concept of this drawing was "How could the Warrior of Light, with the Eye of Hraesvelgr, fight against Nidhogg on their own and win?" - I know recent Trial descriptions talk about how you serendipitously find seven other adventurers willing to take on the area's local god, but Final Steps of Faith doesn't make any mention of such an event transpiring, so I decided to start thinking.
There's loads of potential ways it could go, depending on how you interpret things. My personal way of interpreting it is partly inspired by Nidhogg's "Heart of Man" form, and partly inspired by "Legend of Dragoon" for the PS1 - using the eye of a dragon to create a dragon-knight form and vanquishing a greater enemy! It also happens that this idea would look cool as hell when it's properly visualised, even if the "how" would be surrounded by vague shrugs and mutterings about The Echo.
