Originally from a world known as Thedas, Avice a human and the first to be sworn into the dwarven royal caste House Aeducan had returned from assisting the Inquisitor in the defeat of Corypheus, ending the Templar-Mage war in an attempt to rebuild their world. Having met up with the dwarven scholar, Dagna who had been studying at the Circle of Magi since the beginning of the Fifth Blight, Avice assisted the surface dwarf in her studies of magic and its effect on the material world. Unfortunately, during one of their experiments, they had torn open the veil, causing an upset in the time/space continuum which caused a disturbance in the rift that ultimately pulled Avice into another dimension and respectively, another world.
Not wanting to bring further damage to their still healing world, Dagna destroyed the object and experimentation she and Avice had been working on, thus closing the veil and sealing the rift. It is unknown whether or not the transport was permanent, but what is known is that Avice has been thrust into this new and alien world with no known way back home. Will she find a way back to Thedas or will she choose to stay? Only time will tell.
