Part of my personal immersion as an adventurer is bridging different meta, persuasions, interests, and crossing them over into one complex overlore. My Eorzean concerns are merely the foundation but all others are made to follow. I've often looked at appending the finest people, anime girls of different upbringings and roles, and giving them personal honors. And so in this entry I want to share one that I had been mulling about.
The realm of Gaeabrande is not unlike Eorzea in its efforts to find its own Warrior of Light. Originally given the honor as the Goddess of Healing, I have given Ristarte the dubious, yet earned honor of Goddess of the Okay Boomers. Her volatile, multifaceted persona when overlooking Seiya Ryuguin (who I give the Hyur midlander alias Shay Reagan [Regen? get it?]) is exposed, the type of desperate despondency and vulnerable hilarity that you see in the archetypal boomer as depicted by the West.
The boomer is seen, by my definition, as the successor to the oft-demonized liberal race of man, they who are persecuted by the far-right conspiracy theorists known as Bots. Rebellious, entitled, opinionated, aggressive, and subject to melting when their folly is found out in tragicomical fashion, the boomers are now the race of man that will control all facets of the Blue Planet soon enough, as the viral primal Kwehrona continue to feast on the unwilling and unready. How ironical that Ristarte is the patron goddess of a self-serving band of men, some with obtuse facial hair and appalling hygiene habits. For Ristarte herself is self-serving by nature.
Yea, viewed thus, Ristarte and her peer, the Goddess Aqua, the Axis Sect's Goddess of Water, work hand in hand to give succor and humor the weary Left. Ristarte watches over the boomers, Aqua the liberals. And through their folly and misadventures shall the boomers and liberals be strengthened to fight the good fight and win the good win at whatever the cost.
